Born near Sunset Beach, NC, Allyson was raised in a Christian home. She has two wonderful parents and one younger brother. Being raised on an farm, Allyson has always been an outdoors person. Growing up she had horses, lots of dogs and cats, and for fun would ride 4-wheelers and horses.  She also loves to read and is like a fish out of water, loving any water activity especially water-skiing.  Allyson is extremely and athletic.  She not only actively enjoys sport listed above, she has also received her 1st degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do.

Since the age of two, she has been singing in church.  She began taking piano at age 6, clarinet at 9 and guitar at 11.

When she was 9 years old, Allyson desired to live for Christ and asked Him to be Lord of her life, and she followed through in obedience with baptism. Later that year, she attended Ambassador Camp at Lake Waccamaw, NC.  From that point on, she attended camp for 17 years running. Beginning as a camper, then when eligible, she applied to be a staff member.  She worked on staff at Ambassador Camp from 1991 to 2001. In 2000 and 2001, she was Music Director, Head Counselor and Waterfront Director.  Ambassador Camp teaches the Truth and how to live life in this Truth.

In high school, Allyson was on the tennis team and on the newspaper staff.   Her junior year in tennis she was undefeated in Doubles and lost only one match in Singles.  The following year, the statistics just changed up; she was undefeated in Singles and lost one match in Doubles.  Also during her senior year she was Editor-in-Chief of her high school’s newspaper and this gave her an open forum to discuss things of interest and personal beliefs

Allyson attended a community college and graduated with 2 Associate of Arts degrees.  She then Graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy, with a minor in Psychology.

While attending Appalachian State University, Allyson was very active in her church in Boone, NC.  She was the pianist and a vocalist for the 2 1/2 years she was there.  She participated, and helped choreograph and write some of the skits and dramas they did during her first year there. During her second year, she and one other collaborated to write, choreograph and create the entire drama/skit combo that year. God has truly blessed Allyson with the gift of acting and music.

Allyson’s music touches the heart and soul, relevant to many situations one may face.  This is evident from her lyrics and her passion for music.
